SHOULD CARS CIRCULATE IN CITY CENTRES?

Recently, some governments have considered a law that bans cars in city centers. This law has generated a debate.

On the one hand, there are the people who are for this new law. They say that cars produce a lot of pollution in city centers, especially in the jams. Cities would be cleaner without pollution and the health of the population who live in this city would be better. Furthermore, moving in the city would be safer. And the people who live in the city would have a better life, without noise, jams or pollution.

On the other hand, there are people who think that this law is bad, because it will be more difficult and slower to move in big cities, because everyone would have to use the public service, which is set by a timetable, so the people couldn’t move whenever they wanted. Furthermore, public services use stations, which makes it difficult for people to go to areas which are far from these stations, especially for disabled people.

In conclusion, this law has advantages like cleaner cities, but it has a very big disadvantage, it would make it more difficult to move in big cities if cars couldn’t circulate in them.
