Fornells

Fornells is a village located in a bay in the north of the Balearic island of Menorca, Spain, and it wants to be the ninth municipality of Menorca. Fornells is estimated to have a population of about 1000 people, this number increases in the summer because of the hight level of tourism.

Fornells is the gastronomic capital of the island of Menorca. It has the best quality products from the sea of the Balearic islands. Fornells Bay is deep, measuring 5 kilometres long and 2 kilometres wide. The narrow entrance regulates the force of the open sea. Finally we can say that "La caldereta de langosta" is the dish that has given most popularity to this village. The most popular restaurant of this place is a restaurant called "Es cranc pelut".

In conlusion, Fornells is a place I would recommend you because it is a place where you can see a lot of historic monuments that can teach you a lot of things about the history of Menorca.
