SEX EDUCATION

The education of children today is very different that the education from children a few years ago. Now, the schools teach sex education classes and this, like everything else, has its positive and negative side and for many people this has its pros and cons.

On the one hand, sex education makes children learn about their bodies as well as the human reproductive system. It also teaches them to prevent any diseases or unwanted pregnancies. Through sex education, there’s more communication among friends about this issue because they don’t take it as a taboo issue.

On the other hand, sex education, in many cases, goes against an individual’s morals and beliefs. Also, most schools do not teach ‘abstinence’. Instead, they focus on having safe intercourse, which many religions and family values object before marriage. In addition, educating children about sex at an early age, can contaminate their minds and increase their curiosity that leads to try it once or even force someone to do it.

In conclusion, I think that sex education should be taught in schools as long as they respected the barrier of the perversion of the minds of children. So in that way, we get prepare children for possible future situations.
