ANIMALS IN ZOOS

The topic of animals kept in zoos has been much debated accusing them of cruelty. The fact that they are locked up has led to much diversity of opinions. Below the positive aspects of zoos and those more negative.

On the one hand the main problem with zoos is that animals that live there are kept in enclosures that don’t allow them to live their lives in a natural way. It is not important how large the zoos are because animals do not feel as well as in natural habitat. Having abandoned their families and their own species and being locked in the zoo feel more lonely and spend time having a very monotonous life. You do not know how the animals are treated by the workers themselves or by people who visit daily. Some of them are abused and treated in a cruel way.
Also many animals are which locked up long hours and spend a lot of time alone, feel very bored and have to constantly repeat the show for visitors and this gives them a lot of stress.

On the other hand, zoos help many children to enjoy seeing the animals close, an opportunity that they can’t experience normally. You can find animals of different species that we could only see if we went to the exotic countries where they live. We can also find rare species, unknown and very strange and spend the day enjoying the various animals that dwell therein.
In conclusion, we can say that the zoos have some good things as we can see many animals but on the other hand we are sad to see that they are locked in a cage. In our opinion the animals in most zoos are not well looked after. We think that action should be taken to improve their conditions.
