IS OUR SOCIETY TOO OBSESSED WITH PROBLEMS OF WEIGHT AND FITNESS?



I think that in our society there are both extremes of this situation, as well as a middle ground, obviously.  There are people who are completely obsessed with their weight, others who totally neglect their health and fitness and finally, some people who have reached a healthy balance in their life.

The people who are obsessed with their weight are usually young adults and teenagers, not always with bad problems, and end up with eating disorders.  Then there are people who really do have big weight problems but refuse any kind of exercise and/ or a healthier diet.  They have very unfit lifestyles which can cause health problems.  The people with the best mentality, in my opinion, are the ones who are aware of their weight and fitness but are not obsessed, and do exercise and eat healthily but not over the top.

So, in conclusion, in our society there is a rather varied mix of obsession, neglect and perfect balance.
